Dynamics, Modeling, and Control of Flexible Multi-Body System

Flexible structure like the manipulator of space station or space shuttle can be studied by modeling then using differential equation to analyze. In order to make a model for analysis, many principles can be applied such as dynamical principles, Hamilton’s principle and etc. These principles can generate accurate mathematics model, the low-dimensional model. After we have a model to analysis, we can develop control methods by characterizing a dynamical property as the floating system with considering the law of conservation of momentum and angular momentum.
