Our researches relating to space are based on various knowledge and technologies such as mechanic, electric, control, structure, aerospace, information technology and etc. Therefore students have an opportunity to actively study in many branches of knowledge. We are especially focus on autonomous and intelligent system, which is considered as cutting edge technology for space application. We believe that studying about information process or motion control in living creature is the key to understand intelligent system. Our theme of research is to “understanding dynamics of mechanical system for the space application based on the knowledge of controlling and intelligence.”
There are a wide variety of researches that we are study such as space robot, space exploration rover, solar power system of satellite inflatable structure and etc. We not only emphasize on understanding of theory but also simulation or real experiment. We aim to build sophisticated system that can work perfectly for the era of space.
